ARGO Gin is first matured in vermouth-seasoned ex-chardonnay barrels (for extra ‘extra,’) before Shou Mei, Oolong and Fu Ding tea are introduced in both brewed and distilled form, lifting both aroma and texture. While in oak the liquid develops a stunning, champagne-gold hue.
This may be the most complex and innovative Dark Series release to date.
The ARGO Gin was created to be the house martini at the iconic bar. Poured straight from the bottle frozen and diluted in-glass with hydrosols created in-house by the ARGO team
ARGO has already picked up two awards and a special commendation at international gin awards. Being awarded a Gold Medal at prestigious IWSC competition - one of only five Australian gins to do so this year. It also recently picked up a special commendation in the Global Innovation Award at the Spirits Business Awards.
