Kicking off in the evening of Friday July 22nd and running until Sunday the 24th, Oyster Palooza is a celebration of the incredible local food and drink from our home on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
This mollusc menagerie will be the inaugural Oyster Palooza held at our Chalk Hill Distillery Door with the festival celebrating the peak of the season when Pacific oysters are at their finest.
Featuring fresh South Australian Oysters from Kangaroo Island Shellfish and Coffin Bay oysters from Gazander, the event promises to hit the mark for those partial to a local bivalve.
Guests can choose from a range of ticketed events across the three day event. From indulgent masterclasses with caviar and crostinis or bottomless oysters and pinsas - to casual weekend seatings on the exclusive Oyster Deck.

Oyster Palooza at Never Never Distilling proudly presents an evening of beautiful drinks and delicious local seafood in our original tasting room. Hosted by co-founder and Brand Director Sean Baxter, this is an evening not to be missed.
Tickets include a frozen Oyster Shell Gin served straight from an oyster shell on arrival. As well as a curated menu of exclusive cocktails featuring our Oyster Shell Gin served with oysters, caviar bumps and seafood from our friends at Cucina di Strada.

A one-night-only, bottomless oyster and pinsa party featuring live music and specialty cocktails on our heated outside deck.
Guests will enjoy two delicious cocktails while KI Shellfish oysters are freshly shucked onsite and served naturally, or with your choice of dressings created by local institutions, Salopian Inn and The Currant Shed.
Our friends at Cucina di Strada will be making delicious pinsas for the evening with a distinct seafood theme as well as some of their all-time classics
As if the local flavour needed even further amplification, at the Friday evening event local brewery Swell Brewing will be launching ‘The Mollusc’ - their specifically curated Oyster Stout which will be available on tap over the entire weekend.
Saturday and Sunday will be a feast for the senses!
A 90-minute sitting on our exclusive Oyster Deck that includes three freshly-shucked Kangaroo Island oysters, two drinks, and tastings of our Oyster Shell Gin. Want to stay longer? Book a double sitting!
Ticket holders will also have access to an exclusive cocktail menu celebrating our Oyster Shell Gin as well as roaming oyster shucking with the Kangaroo Island Shellfish team.
The Gazander oyster mobile bar will also be set up on the lawn to cater to those with a serious appetite, supplying their famous Coffin Bay variety by the dozen.
