Our twist on the traditional lemon drop martini using gin instead of vodka.
It’s been the signature cocktail on the menu of a bar called Manchuria in Melbourne for a very long time (where our co-founder Sean used to work).
SB: “I think the bartenders who work there now are truly sick of it but every time they try and take it off the menu they get in strife.”
60mL Triple Juniper Gin
20mL Lemon juice
15mL Sugar syrup
Egg white
Heaped teaspoon of lemon curd
Lemon twist to garnish
Step 1 | Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and vigorously shake to combine. |
Step 2 | Add ice to the shaker and shake hard again to create chill and froth. |
Step 3 | Strain into a ice cold large martini glass and garnish with a lemon twist. |
